Operation Firm Handshake, Inc. (OFHS) is a service-driven organization founded by veterans, for veterans. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by those who have served, our mission is to provide unwavering support to veterans in distress through connection, advocacy, and resources. Based in Harrison County, West Virginia, OFHS extends its outreach to veterans across the state and neighboring regions. A highlight of our efforts is the annual "Day of Reconnection," an event designed to foster camaraderie, offer support, and create a safe space for veterans to share their stories and find the help they need. At OFHS, we are committed to ensuring that every veteran has the tools and community they need to overcome challenges and thrive in their post-service lives.
